Bonny Beeches
Early Autumnal glory.
After Summer’s Sun,
Before Winter’s chill,
Comes Fall’s rich tapestry.

We were blessed with a beautiful beech canopy just up our lane recently, gradually turning from emerald to Sun’s gold. I managed to get a few snaps before the wind and rain carried this treasure away…

Thank you for joining me, I hope you enjoyed this little wander up our lane. If so, please consider making a contribution to our collective future and help plant a tree. All proceeds go to:

Such a lovely group of trees to have right on your doorstep Ralph - a walk under their canopy must be like walking through one of natures cathedrals...so beautiful and nourishing for the soul. I love the image of the leaves in all of their golden and caramel shades, such gemstones hanging overhead. The beeches are just starting to peak down here now, I'm hoping they hang onto their glory for a couple more days when we can get over to a local tree walk on the valley.
Beautiful images Ralph, made all the better by being viewed on a wet and miserable winter’s morning. Thanks for sharing.
