Great pictures Ralph, we have friends up that way but I’ve never been to the river, I shall make a point of it now, looks to be right up my street.

Thanks, Dave. It is, indeed, a lovely spot.

What an amazing looking landscape - looks like a beautiful place for a break. The river looks very peaceful when you visited - I can imagine it flows rapidly in the rainy seasons judging by all the rocks and broken dry stone walls.

Thanks, Lin. I've never seen it under those conditions but I bet you're right!

It looks like a wonderful place for a stroll! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for stopping by, Susanne. It is a lovely place. On one of the jaunts out and about we even navigated the part of the Pennine Way that passes by the Farm. As you can imagine, it's a fair challenge when you're able bodied, but when you're stuck in a power chair, it becomes rather more of a challenge. It didn't, however, deter my wife. Unfortunately there are few pics from this part of the 'hike' as I was too much focussed on making sure my wife didn't get tossed out of her 'chair on the challenging terrain. I wasn't sure how the power chair would cope. As it turned out I needn't have worried
